Key Club Information

As the summer season comes to a close, the fall months will providing us with several key club activities that I would like to share with you.

The Fall Outing over the past couple of years has not been well attended and the board understand how family commitments take priority, so we have decided to create a new format. The Fall Outing this year will be combined with the September Meat Shoot to be held on Sunday, September 18th.

The club will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and sodas for all, free of charge throughout the day. Members, Family, & Friends are welcome to bring their own “goodies” as sharing amongst everyone in attendance has always been of the highlights.

The Meat Shoot will be held on Traps 1, 2 & 3 during the normal scheduled times. Once the meat shoot has concluded the club with open up traps 1 & 2 for regular shooting for $6 per squad. Trap 3 will be open for free and be shooting for “pickups”. This is a great opportunity for the beginner to get some instructions and learn about the great sport of trap shooting.

The Federation 22-23 Season begins with its opening shoot being held on Sunday, September 25th. Lower Merion’s first Federation shoot is now scheduled for Sunday, October 2nd.

While you are marking your calendars, don’t forget to post our Otober Meat Shoot which will be held on Sunday, October 16th.
